16.-20.07.2014. 48TH INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL

48th International Folklore Festival will be dedicated to the folklore and other traditions of the Međimurje region. This small area encompasses many forms of traditional culture, especially folk music and dance heritage. In addition to performances of many Međimurje folklore groups that promote artistic expression of their region, selected ensembles from other Croatian regions, as well as those from distant foreign countries will be performing at this year's festival. Distinctive traditions of Međimurje folk church singing and contemporary works in the field of world music will also be presented.
