08.-16.04.2015. The 4th Festival of sweets - Slatki gušti

On the first days of spring, from April 08 to April 16, the most beautiful park in Zagreb Zrinjevac will become the new home for the most famous pastry shops in Zagreb. Chocolate cake, custard cream cake, colorful ice cream or cheesecake combined with sweet rose or muscat will take you on a journey of the senses that will last for 9 days. In the first days of the festival, bands Ljetno kino and The Frajle will make you dance, as Podravka will make 650kg cake. Cute promenade will bring together the best exhibitors, so you can enjoy a great variety of pastry Vincek, Amelie, Cukeraj, Le kolač, Torte i to, Manaske, Aida, Sora and Lokum. Cyber cafe funk and Jaffa are there to refresh you with its natural juices and smoothie drinks, and for lovers of premium wines come winery Dornberg, Vinolicious, Sora and Kupilek and fruit and chocolate brandy Al Kaprone.

We have prepared a colorful program which you will want to visit every day. On Wednesday, April 8, we have opening of the festival. In order to provide you with happiness and laughter in the next year, ahead of the Zrinjevac pavilion, with the support of familiar faces, we will crush ice cream-filled pinata gifts for visitors. We will organize "Tortoboj" and choose the best dessert of the festival within the aid, and in the evening we treat citizens the performance of the band Open Air Cinema.
On Thursday, April 9, the pavilion will host Peppermint club. Experienced DJ Robert Marekovic and band Johnny & the Rockin 'Tunes disperse the dance floor and make you dance along the famous school of swing Back to swing and get ready for their Dolce Vita Festival in Rovinj.

Do you remember that cake from the beginning of the story? Well reserve in your calendar Friday, April 10, because we want you to join us in Zrinjevac and taste Podravka cake heavy 650 kg !!! Symbolic donations are used to purchase equipment for the catering school in Zagreb, and The Frajle will entertain us!
Saturday and Sunday "špica" will be replace by Zrinjevac because promenade sweets weekend can not be missed! We bring you patisserie Cakebox, thanks to the Cultural Centre of nutrition, coming from distant Korcula and brings Korčulan and South African desserts.

The aim of Slatki gušti is to cheer you, but also to teach you something. Therefore, in cooperation with well-known bloggers and confectioners we prepare educational workshops for everyone to find something. Roll up you sleeves together with our chefs and after nine days you will bake the finest cakes in the neighborhood! And the music? An essential part of our every festival is jazz, pop and soul night!
