The United Kingdom Friendship Society, together with British House representatives and the Esplanada Hotel, Zagreb would like to cordially invite you to join us in celebration of Scotland’s most famous son, the poet Robbie Burns.

Burns Night is a tradition which stretches back over two centuries, and one which only gains in popularity with each passing year.

2015 will see Burns Night being held once again in Zagreb’s most famous Esplanada Hotel, and there you will see for yourself the wonders that await. The piping of the haggis, the toast to the lassies, and the reply to the laddies. There will be dancing too, but don’t worry since we have arranged lessons in advance; and more importantly there will be merriment in abundance.

The night itself is to raise money for a worthwhile charity, the SOS Children’s Village, and it’s a cause which we hope you also consider worthy.

The gala event will be held on 17th January 2015, from 7:30pm at the Hotel Esplanada, Zagreb.
